ALTONet clients hosting on LINUX Options 2, 3 and 4 as well as on MS Windows Options 2, 3 and 4 can host more than one website – each with its own unique domain name and e-mail addresses – on a single account.

In other words, you can have one primary hosting package and host numerous websites on that single account.

Sub-Account Administration:
Sub-accounts are fully administered in your primary account's backroom. Access to the sub-account's files is obtained via either FTP or FrontPage using your main hosting account Username and Password.

Should you require a separate Username and Password to access a sub-account, this can be arranged at no additional monthly charge. However, should you require more than one FTP or FrontPage login per sub-account, this can be setup for a small additional monthly fee.

Disk Storage:
Sub-accounts form part of your main account's disk storage quota. Should you require additional disk storage, this can be purchased in blocks of 10MB.

Traffic Transfer:
Traffic transfer on sub-accounts is included in the main account's traffic transfer limit. If your hosting package has a data transfer limit of, say 550MB, then this amount will cover your main account as well as your sub-accounts. Should you exceed your allocated data transfer limit, additional traffic usage will be billed at R0.35 per MB.

Technical Support:
E-mail and telephonic technical support is ONLY provided to the primary account holder. Sub--account clients of the primary account holder must contact the primary account holder for technical support.

E-mail Accounts:
The e-mail addresses for sub-accounts are all based on the sub-account's domain name (including the POP and SMTP server addresses) and are created and administered through the main account's administrative backroom. E-mail addresses for sub-accounts form part of the primary account's e-mail address allocation. If your hosting option has 50 e-mail accounts and you require 4 mailboxes for a sub-account, then this will leave you with 46 e-mail accounts for your primary website and any other sub-accounts that you might have.
